Slide is a new music ensemble based in Zurich since 2020. The quartet commited with the music of our time, with the improvisation and the collective musical practice. It is formed by musicians with an international career and experience in the contemporary repertoire and free improvisation. Slide also aims to approach and promote new written works that combine the particular instrumental line-up of the quartet and the free improvisation.

Creaziun (2022) is Slide’s most important project to date. A project of co-creation between composition and improvisation in collaboration with Swiss composers Annette Schmucki, Mathias Steinauer, Christian Wolfarth, and Katharina Weber.
